Nutley, NJ – The Nutley Family Service Bureau announced its plan to once again host “An Amazing Magic Show with Randy St. James”, on Friday, September 26th at 7pm. The show will take place in the auditorium at the John H. Walker Middle School, 325 Franklin Avenue, Nutley.
“Our 2007 magic show had a very positive response,” commented Neil Henning, President of the NFSB Board. “We decided to move to a larger venue so that we could offer more seating. It’s really an amazing show; a great night for families,” Mr. Henning added.
Randy St. James has been practicing magic for over 20 years. With plenty of props and an illusionist, it will make for an exciting show. The show is set to last one hour, with a brief intermission scheduled after 30 minutes. There will be a bake sale during intermission where light snacks and beverages will be sold. All proceeds from the ticket sales and refreshments will benefit the Nutley Family Service Bureau.
Nutley Family Service Bureau is an organization committed to promoting the emotional and social well-being of individuals and families through counseling, and to provide community outreach programs to families in need right here in our town and in surrounding communities.
Tickets will be available for purchase starting on Friday, September 5. Tickets purchased in advance of the show are $5 each and can be purchased at the Nutley Family Service Bureau office, 155 Chestnut Street, Nutley where both cash and checks will be accepted. Tickets will also be available at the Department of Public Affairs, 149 Chestnut Street; Department of Parks & Recreation, 44 Park Avenue; and Town Hall, 1 Kennedy Drive – but will only accept checks made payable to Nutley Family Service Bureau. Tickets purchased at the door are $8 each; doors will open at 6:30pm.
The Bureau would like to extend group discounts to Boy Scout Dens and Girl Scout Troops, as well as other civic organizations. Organized groups requesting 12 tickets or more should contact the fundraiser organizer at jelomac@optonline.net for discount details.
“We hope to see our community come out in force to support the Bureau,” mentioned Michael Cocco, fundraiser committee member. “Thanks to the help of so many - Randy St. James for donating his services, The Delgen Press, Nutley Board of Education, our volunteer bakers and fundraiser committee members – 100% of the show’s proceeds will benefit the Nutley Family Service Bureau.”
